  1. I have just became aware of your website in the last 2 weeks and wanted you to know I am enjoying your words and thoughts so much. You mentioned Doug in “Picking Teams” and so I let him know also of your site. Continue to do your work through the internet. Many will see it. Bless you and your family. Donna Mills

    • Thanks, Donna. Please let Doug know that this story was “based on a true events”. I don’t want word to get out to Tony and Terry that I thought they were bullies!

Dayne really did let me play tetherball with him during one recess and it really was a special moment for me.

Thanks for your kind words! I’ll work hard to keep up the writing!

  2. Hi Curt,
I just read your short story “Homecoming” in the writer’s digest short shorts book.
Loved it! I laughed outloud and cried, too.
I look forward to following more of your muses. – Mardra

    • I’m glad you liked the story and especially pleased that you found it in the Short Short Story Competition. May I ask how you stumbled on this? I didn’t even know it was available yet. I have a copy of it but didn’t see it on their site.

I’m thrilled that you’ve found my site.
