I always know when we’ve hit a true spring day when I can open the patio door, allow the breeze to drift through and enjoy the view of our weeping cherry tree in full color. Of course, I enjoy all this at a higher level once the Sudafed has kicked in.
But there is something about the flowers, the color, the smell that gets me moving. I want to mow something. I want to trim something. I want to dig up something. I want to plant something.
There is nothing better than spring.
Unless you are a summer person. Or enjoy the beauty of the fall foliage. Or can’t get enough of the crisp air of winter. But for now, I’ll take spring and all it has to offer. We can worry about the other seasons later in the year.
