I dream of food. Not what I will eat but what I will cook. I have journals with meal plans and dinner goals. I envision the perfectly roasted chicken. I long for mouthwatering venison tenderloins. I calculate the best way to roast vegetables and poach fish. I gather ingredients. I read cookbooks. I watch movies. I practice techniques.
Food is my passion. Cooking is my hobby. Making people happy is the goal. There is just nothing better than watching someone take a bite of one of your creations and the look of deep satisfaction spread across their face.
